Edible Wild Plants and Fungi of Autumn In-Person
Join us as we welcome Karen Monger of the 3 Foragers as she presents on the "Edible Wild Plants and Fungi of Autumn". This discussion will cover the nuts, tubers, fruits, and abundant mushrooms of autumn.
Karen and her husband, Robert are club officers with the Connecticut Valley Mycological Society and members of several other mushroom clubs in the northeast. Karen is a former editor of the North American Mycological Association newsletter. Both she and her husband have written a free blog online since 2009. They also have a book, published in 2016, Adventures in Edible Plant Foraging: Finding, Identifying, Harvesting, and Preparing Native and Invasive Wild Plants.
