Have you started thinking about Halloween costumes? Maybe feeling some frustration over purchasing a costume just to wear it once? Well, join us for our first ever costume swap! September 7-28 we will be collecting all size Halloween costumes. So start digging through your storage boxes and the back of your closet to find those gently used costumes. Costumes must: be in good condition (no holes, rips, stains), be freshly cleaned, be appropriate, and include all accessories. During the above dates, costumes can be dropped off upstairs at the Children's Desk. Please bag your costumes individually. Upon drop off, you will be asked to fill out a brief form and you will receive a token. Multiple costumes accepted, all sizes accepted. On October 5, the day of the Great Costume Swap, come back to the library with your token and browse our costume selection. 1 token per donated costume, 1 token per "purchased" costume. Trying on costumes while shopping will not be permitted. Halloween costume accessories are also welcome for donation, but you will only receive a token for a full costume. Drop off your costumes anytime Saturday, September 7 - September 28 and drop back in anytime between 12pm-3pm Saturday, October 5 to shop for a new gently used costume! *Note: We reserve the right to refuse any costume.
