Connecticut Cryptids In-Person
Join author Patrick Scalisi and artist Valerie Ruby-Omen for a talk about their book, Connecticut Cryptids: A Field Guide to the Weird & Wonderful Creatures of the Nutmeg State. Pat and Val did extensive research on creature folklore from throughout the state.
They'll explain the concepts of "cryptozoology" and "cryptids," followed by an Ellington-based discussion on the creature rumored to reside at the late Valley Dairy Farm. There will also be time for questions and a chance to purchase signed books and prints from the creators.
This event is free and open to residents in any town who are adults or in Grades 6-12, but registration is required.
