FIRST Lego Robotics - Grades 2-3 In-Person
Give your child a hands-on experience with technology and robotics! Kids will work in teams as they focus on the fundamentals of engineering as they explore real-world problems, and learn to design, code, and create unique solutions made with LEGO bricks and powered by a LEGO Education robot. Teams will learn the basics of motors, coding, and engineering and will engage in critical thinking. The season concludes with an end-of-the-year celebration where kids showcase their Lego models and poster board. Spaces are very limited, so be sure to register early! Note: weekly attendance is essential.
This library program is run by Tolland County Robotics Foundation, a nonprofit organization that works to provide local K-12 students with hands-on robotics programs. REGISTER and read more about the organization and this program in particular here.
