SUMMARY:Tataki Zome - Flower Pounding Art Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Discover the ancient Japanese art of tataki zome — a
technique that uses the natural pigments found in fresh flowers and leaves
to create stunning botanical prints directly on fabric. Using only a hammer
and a few simple tools\, participants will transfer the vivid colors and
delicate forms of real plants onto cardstock\, resulting in a one-of-a-kind
decorative piece to take home.\n\nNo artistic experience is necessary. This
hands-on workshop is perfect for nature lovers\, craft enthusiasts\, and
anyone curious about natural dyes and textile arts.\n\nAll supplies will be
provided. You are welcome to bring flowers from your
 garden.\n\nRegistration is required.
